31 days later

I will be posting last months drawing in a couple of days.

31 Days of Halloween

Every day this month I will try to do a Halloween inspired drawing. I will probably post the daily sketches in groups once or twice a week. So here's the first one, drawn on 10-01, hope you like it.

Mug shot

I did this one about a year ago I just kept forgetting to post it. Please stop by the Joeville Chamber of Commerce and you can get this drawing on a T-shirt.

Just Another Sketch

Sketches

Gus and Fin

If you are unfamiliar with who these two are please click the link and check out there videos.
Warning: You may have the sudden urge to learn the ukulele.

Wine Country Ukelele Festival

I did this drawing for a contest. Normally I wouldn't bother with contests but the prize is a Ohana all koa soprano ukulele (suggested retail price $489), and I don't see me ever spending that much on a uke. So I figured what the hell, it will give me something to do. While I was working on the drawing I learned that my brain gets in the way. I have a tendency to over think what I'm doing and and sooner or later I just giving up on the drawing. I'll try and post the early sketches with in the next couple of day to show what I'm taking about. Hope you like the final drawing.

Julie Newmar

I came across some pictures of Julie Newmar on Shane Glines' blog Cartoon Retro and I thought they would be fun to draw. So if I don't loose interest one or two more will follow.

Find out what's new in the town of Joeville

I know when it comes to posting I don't do it with any real regularity. So I've added one of those Followers things to the sidebar, to update anyone who might be interested.

Hey look it's some animation!!

It's actually just a work in progress. This is my first real attempt at animating in Flash. The animation here is only a third of the final piece, and this section needs some more work. The audio is from the movie "Bride of The Monster" and that's Bela Lugosi's voice. I'd like to know what people think so far. Also any Flash tips would be welcome.

This might be the beginnings of an idea. The more I worked on this the more I enjoyed these two characters. Now I just got to keep myself from getting distracted, so I can finish working this out.

The Awakening

I'm Still Here

It's been a while since I've been able to post. As some of you know my son Dante was born on Oct. 25 , so I've been a bit busy. I'll try to post a little more often, but in the meantime beware of the Cymbal Monkey!!!

Simon Barsinister

The Joeville Chamber Of Commerce is now Open!

That's right.  I now have things to sell.  Mainly it will just be stuff I would like to see on t-shirts.  Like this one.

I figured if my cartoon version of myself  wears this shirt I should too.

There are some Little Grim things up, and I hope to have more new things within a few weeks.

If you interested just click here and it will take you the the Joeville Chamber of Commerce.

Scarecrow

Hovering Sombrero

I was listening to They Might Be Giants when Hovering Sombrero came on this image popped in my head. So I did this quick little drawning before I forgot about it.

My Name Is Earl

Here's a character and color study for Earl and Randy

Underdog!!

"Oh, it looks good on you though."

Here's something that was inspired by Rodney Dangerfield's dialogue from Caddyshack.
"Oh, this is the worst-looking hat I ever saw. What, when you buy a hat like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh? Oh, it looks good on you though."

The Final Sign of the Apocalypse

I'm proud to announce that the end of the world is upon us. That's right Letty and I are having a baby!! May God have mercy on us all.

Pirates and Zombies

Another Grim

The 33 year old kid

For some time now I've been telling my wife that I want to learn to ride a unicycle and get a fez. Well I finally got both. So I did this drawing to poke fun at myself.

Smoking Robot

Flying Rabbits

I know I haven't posted very much lately. Which is odd because it seem that I've been drawing more. I've got a couple of things in the works. This one I might paint I might not.

Another Zombie

I just cant get enough of these guys.
