Mileena Pin-Up

I finally got around to finishing up the Mileena drawing. Mileena is one of my main characters.  Barraka is an other one I use a lot. I do love this game.  I hope the new DC fighting game that NetherRealms is putting out is just as good, because I am really looking forward to beating up Superman.

I've been playing a lot of Mortal Kombat lately.  That new game is just great it's like playing the first one all over again.  So here's Skarlet.  I didn't plan on doing any MK fan art, this was just going to be a sketch.  Now I already have an idea for a second drawing.

Shelob's Cave

This is from my sketch book.  I had no idea what I was drawing at the time but it turned into this.  That's why it's on an angle and the mouth of the cave looks forced, but I think it came out all right.

Howlin' Hobbit

I finally got around to finishing this drawing off.  This is the my second drawing of internet ukulele heroes, the first was of Gus and Fin.  This drawing is a mix of the past and present.  I used the Hobbit's current look with the mother board background that used to be panted on the walls in his earlier videos.

I thought I would do a take on a Gil Elvgren painting. This is my first pass at it.  Done in my sketch book.  I plan on enlarging this and fixing some of it's problems and maybe change the look of it some.

Here's the original drawing for the "We Are Of Peace" post.  I would of put this up earlier but when I did the markers I thought it looked like I gave her a five O'clock shadow.   Now I don't think it looks as bad.

I did something different on this one. I drew it in pen to force myself to not overwork the drawing and to except any mistakes that i might make. I think I did OK until I got to the markers. I somehow lost my light source, but I think I salvaged it.

I know that's an obscure reference but it I needed to call this post something. This has been sitting on my hard drive for a while. When I finally got back to it, I couldn't capture the energy it had when I started it. So, I'll post it as is, with the hope that I may come back to this and finish it one day.

Old Drawing New Ink part 3

I didn't think anyone actually read my occasional ramblings, but I was wrong. Well Craig, I did finish I just didn't post. So does that still count? :) The zombie drawings were for a T-shirt idea I had a while ago. There is a double sided shirt with the crawling zombie on the back, and a single sided shirt. This is part of something I'm working on. It should be done by now, but the uke and xbox controller are much easier to pick up at the end of the day. I will announce a deadline right now and say that I'll have this finished up by the end of next week. Maybe that will make me get this done.
